The 1st Department of Cardiology, University of Athens will manage this project under the supervision of Professor Dimitrios Tousoulis and Dr Alexios Antonopoulos. There is a successfully established long-term research collaboration between the University of Athens and the University of Oxford, UK with a track record of high-impact publications. The University of Athens has a high-capacity to conduct clinical studies as well as in-house expertise for plasma biomarker measurements.
